EuropTec USA has one of the largest salt baths for chemical strengthening in North America which allows us to strengthen glass up to 32” x 50” (812 x 1,270mm) in size. Chemical strengthening reduces impact and scratch-related damage and creates a bending strength much greater than that of normal float glass. Chemical strengthening is ideal for increasing strength in thin glass while keeping optical properties unchanged and the the glass as flat as possible. Chemical strengthening is available for glass parts with thickness ranging from 0.5mm to 6mm.
