Laminated glass combinations protect against shards caused by breakage and allow the installation or lamination of additional functional layers to modify reflection, transmission and electrical conductivity.

IR/UV reflecting laminates block infrared and UV rays and allow only light to pass through the glass. High amounts of infrared and UV rays damage and will disable LCD screen panels. This is especially true when your display design is in contact with direct sunlight.

EuropTec’s EMI (electromagnetic interference) shielded filters are ideal wherever high-optical quality combined with electromagnetic shielding performance is needed. Laminates are available with mesh or coatings to shield the display and silver busbar printing is available for easily grounding the filter in your application.
